Power 104.9WSTV

In March of 2020,  with just a dream and a few dollars, Power 104.9 WSTV was created by Street Money Smallz aka Reque Blackmon.

In 2000, Smallz began his radio career with Radio One Atlanta, Hot 97.5 , & Hot 107.9, this brought him the opportunity to work with some of the greatest radio personalities to ever be in the business. Some of those personalities include: Ryan Cameron, Chris Luva Luva aka Ludacris, Poon Daddy LaLa (Love and Hip Hop ), Jerry Clark, Jerry Smokin B and the list goes on.

After leaving this job behind, Street Money Smallz became one of the leading promotion directors in the music industry for Real Street Promotions with Tyreal Lewis. He began  breaking records such as Ciara’s first single,  "My Goodies" as well as her album to follow along with music released by many other major labels.

After those careers ended, Smallz turned his sights to producing records. This included artists such as Boyz II Men, TI , Rasheeda, Tango Redd, Blak Jak,  Loyd,  & Bad Boy South. Shortly after, he began touring with many artists such as 2 Chains, Monica, K. Michelle, T- Pain, Young Dolph, Bank Roll Fresh (Street Execs), Skooly, Travis Porter, and many more.

All of which led to the creation of Power 104.9 WSTV in Jonesboro, GA.  After reaching out to DJ EFX of Power 104.9 FM WTSX in Kokomo IN, he presented the opportunity to shine as an    on-air personality. With his listeners starting to grow at a fast pace, his show took off and sparked the idea of his own radio station, Power 104.9 FM WSTV Jonesboro GA. Smallz then became the first black owned radio station in Jonesboro and his company had grown within a short time to nearly 20 employees. All the hard work and dedication has paid off & has made the station what it is today.
